Starr Ayers is a third-generation artist, writer, amateur photographer, and speaker. She shares of God’s grace through her journey as the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome and encourages the acceptance of those with life-challenging disabilities. Her love for God and his Word placed her on a path of mentoring and inspiring women to listen for the still, small voice of God and to embrace their uniqueness in Christ. Starr Ayers is a third-generation artist, writer, amateur photographer, and speaker residing in Asheboro, North Carolina.  As the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome, she has personally experienced the heartbreak of children labeled as “different.” Her heart is to encourage the acceptance of those with life-challenging disabilities and to inspire others to embrace their own uniqueness in Christ. Starr Ayers is a third-generation artist, writer, amateur photographer, and speaker who lives in Asheboro, North Carolina. As the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome, she has experienced the heartbreak of children labeled “different.” Her heart is to encourage the acceptance of those with life-challenging disabilities and to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness in Christ. She is currently pursuing the publication of her children’s picture book, Arianna, the Angel with Two Left Wings. Starr is a contributor to Hopelifter: Creative Ways to Spread Hope When Life Hurts and is published monthly in Thrive Magazine. She also writes regularly for Christian Devotions and  ZooKeeper Ministries. Starr is a Bible study teacher, silent retreat leader and serves as a Hospice House volunteer.
